The Client: EasyProServe
EasyProServe is a professional process serving company based in Alberta. They serve legal documents — court orders, summons, notices — on behalf of lawyers and law firms across the province.
Process serving is a specialized, trust-heavy service. The people hiring them are lawyers and paralegals who need reliability and professionalism. First impressions matter. A lot.
Their old website was not making that first impression.
The Problem: A Website That Was Working Against Them
When EasyProServe came to us, their website had a few obvious problems.
It was slow. On Google's mobile performance test, it scored a 50 out of 100. That put it squarely in the "needs improvement" range — the orange zone.
It was not clear. A visitor landing on the site could not quickly understand what the company did, who they served, or how to get started. That is a big problem when your customers are busy lawyers.
It looked dated. Process serving is a professional service. The site needed to reflect that.
And it was not built for search. The SEO score was 92 — not bad, but not where it should be for a local service business competing for attention in Alberta.
The result was a site that was not pulling its weight. Potential clients were landing and leaving. The business was growing despite its website, not because of it.
What We Built
We rebuilt the EasyProServe site from the ground up. Custom design. Clean code. Built specifically for a professional audience that wants answers fast.
The homepage now communicates the core message in the first five seconds: who they serve, what they do, and where they operate. No guessing.
The structure was redesigned around the questions lawyers actually ask. Can they handle urgent serves? Do they cover my area? How do I submit a job? The site answers all of it clearly and quickly.
Every page was written to build trust. Real information about the process, real clarity about what to expect. No filler content.
And under the hood, the site was built for speed. Static HTML output. Enterprise-grade hosting on a global edge network. Images optimized at build time. Zero unnecessary scripts.
The Results: Google PageSpeed Before and After
This is where the numbers tell the story.
Performance score went from 50 to 94. That is the difference between a site Google flags as slow and a site it considers fast. On mobile — where most professional referrals are looked up on the go.
SEO hit a perfect 100. Up from 92. Every technical signal Google uses to evaluate the site now comes back clean.
Accessibility improved from 90 to 93. Best Practices stayed at a perfect 100.
These scores are not vanity metrics. Performance affects how high you rank in search. SEO affects whether you show up at all. A 94 Performance score means the site loads fast enough that Google pushes it up the rankings — and visitors stay long enough to actually reach out.
What Actually Moved the Needle on Performance
Going from 50 to 94 is not magic. Here is what drove it.
Static output. The old site was dynamic — the server built each page on demand. The new site pre-generates every page at build time. When someone visits, the server sends a file. No database queries. No waiting.
Edge hosting. The new site is deployed on enterprise infrastructure with data centers across North America. When a lawyer in Calgary pulls up the site, they are getting it from a server close to them — not one in a distant data center.
Clean code. No page builder bloat. No redundant CSS. No scripts loading before the content appears. Every line of code has a reason to exist.
Optimized images. Images were converted to modern formats and compressed at build time. The total page weight dropped significantly.
These are not tricks. They are the structural advantages that come from building a site properly instead of assembling it in a drag-and-drop builder.
Why a Perfect SEO Score Matters for a Local Service Business
EasyProServe operates in a defined geography — Alberta. They want to be found by lawyers in Calgary, Edmonton, and the surrounding areas.
A perfect SEO score of 100 means every technical SEO signal Google checks is correct. Proper meta titles. Correct heading structure. Clean URLs. Fast load time (which is itself an SEO factor). Mobile-friendly layout.
This does not guarantee ranking — content and backlinks matter too. But it removes every technical barrier that could hold the site back. The site is now in the best possible position to rank for the searches that matter to EasyProServe.
